Winnie the Pooh Baby Birthday Parties
70If you’re struggling to come up with your baby’s next birthday party theme allow me to suggest a Winnie the Pooh baby birthday party. Winnie the Pooh is one of those timeless brands that never goes out of style, whether you use it as a birthday party theme or a baby shower theme. The characters in the story not only serve to entertain our young minds but they also go far in educating them as well. Disney has been putting out Winnie the Pooh baby products for decades. They’ve established a classic story filled with loveable characters that any child would enjoy celebrating with. If just by watching a Winnie the Pooh movie or reading a Winnie the Pooh children’s book you aren’t convinced that your child would enjoy having a Winnie the Pooh themed party let me further entice you with a few Winnie the Pooh party ideas.
Children love playing games at parties. They want to win prizes and have a great time laughing and playing with their little friends. Winnie the Pooh has such a wide range of party games available in stores but even if you’re not willing to spend any extra money buying brand name products you can use the characters in the story to make up your own fun party games.
My daughter went to her friend’s recent Winnie the Pooh birthday party where they played Pin the Tail on Eeyore. They had a printed out poster of the famously depressed donkey taped up on their wall and had all of the kid’s try and pin his tail on him while blindfolded. The character of Eeyore is already losing his tail in just about every episode of Winnie the Pooh so his storyline made the pin the tail on the donkey game that much better.
You can also had Winnie the pooh toys around the house or yard and have the kids try and find them!
Winnie the Pooh Party Favors and Treats
What’s a birthday party without a giant birthday cake? Winnie the Pooh blends seamlessly into any cake decoration. You can fill jars of “honey” with party favors and hand them out to the kid’s when they leave and you can bake a carrot cake that even old Mr. Rabbit would appreciate.
Winnie the Pooh as a character loves to eat sweets and honey. He’s always struggling to find more honey to pleasantly fill his tummy with and this lends itself well to an assortment of Winnie the Pooh themed food. Birthday parties are sweet as it is but when you add honey to just about every food it will make the children go crazy for it.
