Legitimate Work From Home Sites: They All Claim You Can Make Money At Home
79Yes, There Are Some Legitimate Work From Home Sites Out There
I have been doing a LOT of online research regarding legitimate work from home jobs - aka legitimate work at home jobs. Man, there sure are a lot of websites with this type of information! Now, When I say " work at home job", I mean an actual job - or business - that can be done at home. I am not interested in the "get paid to do online surveys" or "get paid to post ads" type of work. These seem too scammy for my taste. Plus, from what I have learned, the pay sucks for the amount of work done.
During my research, I discovered some real good websites - and some real bad websites. While they all seem to have the same general information about working at home, each of them have their own spin on things. Many spout ways to earn money at home with free at home jobs, but you must remember to take their advice with caution. I am listing some of them here, with my opinion of each. The ones I am listing are those that came up within the top 30 results of the big search engines for a few different key phrases. Otherwise, there are just too many to list.
My Opinion of the Best Legitimate Work From home Sites:
www.2work-at-home.com This is one of my favorites. There is a lot of information about starting a business as well as links to work at home jobs and opportunities (they have some of those "get paid to do surveys" links.
http://www.bizymoms.com/ Nice site! They recently underwent a facelift. Geared towards moms, this site has a lot of legitimate information to aid in home business start-up.
http://www.businessownersideacafe.com/ I love this site because it has everything you need to know about starting a business. Although not specific to work at home jobs, it does offer expertise for small businesses and those who want to work from home. Their forum is great.
http://www.employment911.com/ This site comes up in the search engines for a wide selection of keywords related to work at home jobs. I'm not too crazy about the look of this site and the feel is similar to that of the typical job search sites. They really don't have much information related to working at home.
http://www.ewomanweb.com/ A fairly new site in the work at home world, but I think a pretty good one. Laid out well and a lot of information for finding work at home jobs. They also have home business start-up information.
http://www.hbwm.com/ I like this site, but it is more geared towards networking and community building. Not much in the way of work at home information.
http://www.moneymakingmommy.com/ This site has a lot of good info. related to home jobs, but they also have a lot of those "survey" and "ad posting" type of job suggestions. I found the site a bit slow to load (I get impatient). The site is well laid out and organized with a lot of ideas and resources to earn some "extra cash".
http://www.powerhomebiz.com/ A great resource for starting and running a home business - lots of good articles. A little ugly to look at, though.
http://www.wahm.com/ This one has been around for several years. While it has a lot of "foo-foo" stuff not related to work or business, it does have a very active forum that contains many different job opportunity topics.
http://www.work-at-home.org/ This site is loaded with work at home wisdom and job information and they appear to focus on facilitating the work at home lifestyle.
http://www.workathomeincome.com/ This site gets my "ugly" stamp. I can't quite figure out this site. Where are the work at home jobs?
http://www.worldwideworkathome.com/ There are many companies listed that offer work at home opportunities, but the site lacks business starting information. Good site if you're looking to make a few bucks.

Shola,
Work at home jobs are for anyone...man or woman. All the sites that list legitimate work from home jobs are not gender specific.
