Writing from Home

Other than Hubpages, there are some good ways to make money from home.  I have yet been able to get rich working online, and have wasted lots of time with survey sites and such, BUT extra money can be made.

I think most of the good online work revolves around writing.

Craig's List can be a good source.  If you are diligent, at least a few bucks can be made on Craig's List daily.  The first key is to not just focus on the Craig's List city you live in, but to expand your horizons.  When searching for work in the writing/editing jobs and writing gigs category, location often does not matter.  Editing a document for someone, writing an article, doing some research, or other related activities can happen all via the wonder of email.  Just the other day I paid someone from Craig's List to revise my resume.  I have cultivated two long-term working relationships writing/researching for people I found via Craig's List that net me between $100-$500 a month.

Although it takes a little more work than Craig's List, I have Elance to be a legitimate source of at-home work.  On Elance, you pay a relatively small monthly fee and set up a profile marketing your talents.  People who need work done can search for you... and of course, you can bid on posted jobs.  I have had limited success on Elance with a small amount of effort put in.  I think you if commit a good chunk of time on Elance, you can make consistent money.

Thanks for the info. I had heard about earning with craiglist. I have sold some items through craiglist. It seems like a lot more people look there. The other way of earning on there, I haven't tried yet. Have a great day!
