ww.craigslist.com is not just a website or a company, it is a COMMUNITY and is great service for finding people, private engagements, things, or private engagements with people's things.

Craigslist is doing exactly what it set out to do - even if, at the time he set out, Newmark really had no idea what he was doing. And he certainly had no idea that 12 years later, there would be a Craigslist in 450 cities around the world, with more on the immediate horizon.

craigslist.com has a section called "erotic services" that advertises criminal activity. They choose to do nothing about it and has certainly dropped the ball on serving the world-wide & foreign language audience. As an online apartment shopper, I am amazed how lame some of these entries are.

It is a great place to sell your items, but you might not be able to find the best possible buyer for your investment. Although the site might not fetch you the perfect sale price, it is free so it should be the first place you list your products. It is still an island community compared with most of the Web. To use the site, you need to go through its site and manually input your wares for sale.

Craigslist has taken the option of not allowing content from their site to be used to add value to competitors sites ie Google,Yahoo etc. They believe that their content, value proposition and brand are unique enough that users will come to them for the information. It also has a strong public-service mission, so this sort of role fits it well. The company's management team has demonstrated a core commitment to serving the public, rather than making lots of money. ww.craigslist.com has tons of apartments, duplexes, condos, townhomes, and homes listed all the time your area. If you are looking for a place to live, check out Craigslist because they have lots of stuff.

Craigslist is reported to be the seventh biggest Internet company, measured by traffic. Its chief executive, Jim Buckmaster, points out that the other nine companies in the top ten employ a minimum of 5,000 staff. Craigslist is my best friend. Even if you need a place to stay in a big city during the peak times, you can probably find a short-term rental for cheaper than what it would cost to stay in a hotel. Craigslist is considering limiting the use of HTML code in all ads though they are not banning HTML, but simply restricting certain tags.
