Ref: Your Statement period from 08 Oct 2009 to 08 November 2009
With reference t the above statement, the u/s made the payment of Rs.10,000/- against the above card on 05/11/2009 vide CPD! 0070511 at Bangalore. But in your statement the above amount is not taken into account and no deduction has been made in the principal and interest and both are shown double in the above statement which is not acceptable to me.
It is also pointed out that the interest rate which you are shown in statement and calculation is not at all coincide with which the interest rate as you are mentioned in your statement. ie., 3.30 % Per month (39.60% Per annum). In my above credit card my principal amount is Rs.1,90,185.72 and the minimum payment due is Rs.19,429.60/- (without deducting the amount of Rs.10,000/- which I already paid). It seems that you are charged 10.21% per month for the principal amount which was against the interest rate of 3.30% which you are mentioned in the above statement.
So you are requested to verify the matter urgently and review the case and if any mistake is happened kindly correct the same and deduct the amount in my next statement. Your earliest action is appreciated.

I have had an HSBC account at the Bandra office or branch for the past two years but recently had to attempt to close the account.
I have written to various offices, including one in the UK at Birmingham, to ask them to close the account, but to no avail, as I continue to get statements showing that bank charges have progressively dwindled the account down to a zero balance.
Now that the balance is zero could anyone at HSBC close the account for me please ?
I live and work in the UK, but have been unable to contact the Bandra branch myself from the UK.
