www.vonage.com

vonage.com is the website for Vonage, a voice over IP service. This service provides telephone like services to people and businesses by using your broadband internet connection to make voice calls. The service requires about 100 kbps upstream bandwidth rates to ensure the quality of the call. When customers sign up for the service they get a vonage router to manage their bandwidth.

www vonage com voip services

www.vonige.com offers residential and small business service calling plans on it's website. The service includes all of your local and long distance charges that range between 15 and 50 dollars per month.

The vonage com website has a nice tool to find if vonage is available in your area. www vonage com offers all of the features of standard phone systems including caller id, call transfer, voice mail and just about anything else.

I love the big buttons on the site. They make it very easy to sign up for Vonage. The Vonage pricing is easy to find and understand.

The only thing I don't like about the site, is that it makes seem live Vonage voip services are good for all people and businesses. There are many things to take into account when selecting a voip service. The number of people that will be using the phone makes a huge difference. For every 3 to 5 heavy talkers, a small business will need to add a t1 line. This can become expensive and require qos routing and special equipment. Something that not all small businesses are prepared to handle from an IT perspective. I wish they had a tool to see if it really was a good fit for people.

How to quit Vonage? If you have this question, please contact vonage.com customer support and be very clear that you want to quit the service.

I just called Vonage to quit their service because I got Verizon FIOS Triple-Play with phone as part of the package. After 15 minutes of telling the customer rep that I didn't want Vonage anymore, she was still trying to talk me into staying. I finally hung up. If I see any more charges from them on my credit card, I'll be calling them again.
