www.x-rates.com

The web’s name reminds me X-men. And if x-rates is a man I am not sure if he can be another strong wolverine. But what I can be sure is he must be every forthright. He just gives you what you want without any useless things to daze your sight.

First you should know x-rates.com is about the currency exchange rates. The homepage is succinct. At the center, there are two grids to tell you the exchange rates directly. Just hit on the nail. I like this style. You can choose to see a chart or a graph. Well I prefer chart. Then I get many exchange rates based on US dollars. What I feel more convenient is in the chart US dollar is taken both as base currency and target currency. And when I go further in x-rates.com. I find that I can invert the base and target currencies any time by clicking a buttom. Also you have another way to easily change base currency. You get lots of choices on the left part of this page. Everything is pretty clear up there. Besides you can download this chart too.

If there is no your currency in the list, that means exchange rate information for the currency of your country is probably not easily obtainable on the Internet copyright free from a reliable source. All the exchange rates in x-rates.com are based on rates released by a few select public free sources. Depending on their availability the International Monetary Fund, the European Central Bank, Bank of Canada or the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. That is why the currency of your country is not here and also the reason you can fully trust the datas in x-rates.com.

On the right part you will see a menu. Currency calculator and custom table are nearly as the same as the chart I said just know. They are working a little different. No need to explain too much.

What I want to stress is Historic Lookup. This function is for you to forcast the future exchange rates by analysing the history exchange rates. You do not have to search for a long time to find the right data you want. Historic Lookup pulls you back from the endless searching and helps you to get what you want in no time.

Historic lookup is really helpful I think. This function is really sweet and easy to use. With this chart you can search the exchange rates of any day. For example, I supposed that you have already chosen the base and target currencies. Then set the date as April 4, 2009. And historic lookup will give you the exchange rate on that day together with the results of two days before and behind April 4. From these results you can see the rate trend easily.

X-rates.com also provides a very powerful online currency trading firm called Forex Capital Markets which knows as FXCM. There you can find a lots things to learn and do some online currency trading.

I know you may think the content of x-rates.com is too little. However, you will not waste your time on lots rubbish things which you do not want to see. Easier makes faster. So why not try on this web and see how things go easier.
