Free Email Service from YahooMail
YahooMail is one of the leading free e-mail providers in the cyberworld. Millions of users from every nook and corner of the world use this web based e-mail service from Yahoo. If you have already registered for the yahoo mail, then well and good. However, if you haven't yet registered for the Yahoo mail, and want to register, but don't know how to go about it. Then this hub will be helpful to you, as I have kind of covered some points to help you with the registration process at Yahoo mail. I hope this hub is useful to you.
To register for Yahoo!'s personalized services, you will have to click on the ‘Sign Up' link located towards the top of any of Yahoo!'s personalized services webpage. After clicking on it, just follow the instructions. During registration, you'll be asked to select a Yahoo! ID and choose a password. Please note that your Yahoo! ID cannot contain special characters or spaces. And after you've signed up, you can use this same ID and password for all of Yahoo!'s services.
Yahoo also allows you to create multiple profiles on your account and use them with services such as Yahoo! Chat, Yahoo! Message Boards, Yahoo! Messenger, and Yahoo! Groups. However, Yahoo recommends that one account is sufficient for use throughout the entire Yahoo! network, and that there is no need to create multiple accounts because of the difficulties associated with maintaining multiple IDs and passwords. To use different identities within Yahoo!, you can add up to six profiles, or aliases. A profile consists of a name and some information that you show to other Yahoo! members. When you sign in to Yahoo!, you can choose any of your profiles.
To create a new profile, go to the Yahoo! Member Directory. Make sure you are signed in, then click "My Profiles." The next page will list your ID and all the profiles that you have already created. To make a new one, click the "Create New Public Profile" button near the top. The only required field is the actual name-all other information is optional.
You should not reveal any information on your profile that you wouldn't want a complete stranger to know (phone numbers, address, etc.) When you're done, use the "Create Profile" button. This will take you back to your profile list, with the new name added. Make sure to use the "Finished Editing" link to save your changes.
