Yahoo Travel is one of Yahoo's most successful projects to date. Yahoo has too many projects internally to name, however none of them have seen the shear amount of traffic short of their email front page. For a company built on search engines, the transition to helping traveler's find deals was a well placed investment for the company.

I personally used the service recently on a trip to the Los Angeles area while going to Disneyland in Garden Grove. I found a hotel, rental car, park information, and driving directions without having to do 5 million searches. I was pleasantly pleased by the convenience and ease of use by the travel site. I would put my recommendation on Yahoo Travel anyday.
