Cheap tickets.com is a site designed to help you find deals on flights, hotels, car rentals, activities, packages, cruises, train travel, event tickets, and last minute trips. They also have two more features: Cheap Tickets Gold and Cheap of the Week. Below is my review.
This is what I liked about the site www cheap tickets com:
- Like advertised, I found some cheap tickets. SFO to LAX in one week from now for $123 bucks per person after taxes. Not bad, but not much better than Travelocity at $124 for the same airline and times. The difference I found was that www.cheaptickets.com did give more of a discount for a child traveling than travelocity.com did.
- It was easier to change the dates and travel time on cheap tickets.com than on travelocity
- They partner with StubHub, which was just bought by eBay, to buy tickets for events.
- The navigation bar across the top is constant so it's very easy to navigate the site.
- Wording was clear and concise.
- Cheap of the Week had some deals, check it out before you book your travel.

What could be improved at www.cheaptickets.com:
- The Cheap Tickets Gold seemed a bit like a sham to me. I couldn't find how much it costs to be a member, just that you could receive two months for $1 with a quit at anytime policy. Unless you travel a lot, it probably isn't worth it.
- When booking a flight, there wasn't an easy way to change the travelers' options; you had to use the back button.
- With a name like www cheaptickets com, the tickets should be cheaper than a buck compared to other sites.

Hi There, Today, MONDAY, JUNE 17, 2007; at around 7:30 AM this morning, I have searched "A CHEAP TICKET" - A Roundtrip Tickets - for my trip from LOS ANGELES, CA, USA to JAKARTA, INDONESIA through "cheaptickets.com" and I got ONE with JAPAN AIRLINES [Departing LAX: JUNE 28, 2007; Return JAKARTA SOEKARNO-HATTA INTERNATIONAL (CKG): DECEMBER 28, 2007]. The AIRFARE that has been posted on www.asaptickets.com/cheap-tickets for JAPAN AIRLINES was $960.00 [TOLL FREE: 1 - 800 - 677 - 2943].
But after a while - after searching another AIRFARE just to COMPARE with that one which has been posted - I came back to www.asaptickets.com/cheap-tickets and tried to get back but I FAILED.
So WOULD YOU PLEASE DO ME A FAVOR in order for me to get back to JAPAN AIRLINES for the thing I mention above [with the AIRFARE at sum of $960.00]??

I am still so upset. We are heading to Anchoarage with e-tickets in hand and cheap tickets completely changes our flight planes - the times, the layover, everything! If we had tried to do that they would hae charged us a penalty fee. Then they leave us stuck in an airport with a 9 hour layover and 2 connecting flights - nothing like the first flight we had already bought and paid for!! I had to call and find a new flight I am still not happy with, took me 2 hours on the phone, on and off hold with cheap tickets and the airlines, until they both wore me out and I gave in. I will never buy tickets through them again!

I am very frustrated. I was told my credit card was not usuable. I have had the account for years and know my balance. I could not purchase after two hours working on the net. Plus the site closed for updating and cut me off.

I booked a flight and never recieved my itinerary. My bank account was debited and now I will have to take them to court. I will never use their so called service again and will tell everyone I know how they rip off prospective customers.
I have very bad experience to buy ticket for use Cheapticket.com. Now I try to find out right person who can help me fixed problem which cheapticket.com created for me. My problem is: 2/22/2008 I booked ticket for use British Airways. I requested ticket: 1) From Newark NJ to London UK on 3/17/08 night time. And I have got it right. It is flight # 188, March 17, 2008 9:50 P.M.2) From Heathrow/London to Domodedovo/Russia March 19, 2008 12.25 p.m.By phone the sales representative said my request is OK. But when next day I have got Email the departure time was wrong. Time was 8:55 A.M. instead 12.25 P.M. 3) From Domodedove to London March 29 is OK4) From London to Newark on 3/30/08 the departure time is not right. It is 8:50 A.M, but I requested 2:45 P.M. I called to customer service of cheapticket.com that I received my ticket with wrong departure time.I talked with Holly- supervisor and she said I have 2 choices:
First- I have to pay $200 for change departure time. And second choice if I not agree to pay $200 I can return my ticket and during 60 days she will refund $761.02.
I am using Cheapticket.com almost 10 years. And each year I buy 4-5 tickets. I never had any problems like that. It was very rude from supervisor tell me:” cancel ticket with us”. It is how she keeps customers? I am not agreeing with that because customer service made mistake with departure time. I did not. Why I have to pay for somebody mistake? Everything what I need it change time from 8:40 A.M. to 12:25 P.M. on 3/19/08 and from 8:55 A.M. to 2:45 P.M. on 3/30/08.Please can you help me get out from this problem and may be you can recommended somebody or companies who can help me get right ticket?Lyubov Potapova

I used cheapticket.com to book my flight and hotel package together to Tucson, Arizona and my selection of the hotel came out perfect. Through cheapticket I set up accomodations with America's Best Inn located on E. Benson Hwy. My room was clean and comfortable, and the front desk was very helpful giving me directions how to get around Tucson. Right across the street is a coffee shop and McDonalds. Two intersections from the Inn was a 24 hour Walgrens Drug Store and ATM Wells Fargo Machine. The Inn is easy to find or get to from Tucson International Airport. The Inn is ideally located as it is just off a major freeway, located right at a major intersection which will lead you into downtown Tucson and Univ. of Arizona. From this Inn there is no need to get onto the freeway to reach downtown. I would use this hotel again. Lane Okimura
I have a wonderful experience on my way to South Florida. My visit was going to be just for few days, due to the economy. But the arrangements that was done for me and my stay was so wonderful, that I did stay much longer than anticipated this extra time allow me to know my friends better and at the same time I met the love of my live, an wonderful person ,21 years old that will come to Ma. to study anything in the Medical Profession, close to me in Malden. I am so happy . Her name is Kristen, she is 21 years old and I wll be 72 by december this year. All this happiness and the future of two people is due to this Company and the effort of their employees.
We are interested how we use the free tickets. We are not interested in the tryst of an age Lotario. Just limit yourself to you esperiences with the damn tickets and leave the experiences with young prostitutes some place else> I'll be darn!

You can't beleive the miss I'm in with cheap ticket. I purshased a ticket from them, they send me the paper ticket because it's an over sea's trip. No problem there untill the air line decided to cancel the scheduled flight. Do you know the old question which one cames first the egg or the chiken? It is just like that. I call cheap ticket to resolve the issue they ask me to call the air line directly. then when I call the air line directly to reslove it they asked me to call cheap ticket my (AGENT) to reprint the ticket. Cheap ticket reply's Oh no we don't print tickets it is the airline and the airline say's no it is the agent that should do it. CHEAP PRICE COMES WITH CHEAP CUSTOMER SERVICE. and let me tell you something about the customer services. they are all in India with american names heavy accent and bad altidud un beleivable. I don't know why do we want to support this company. I call upon anyone who is about to by a ticket with cheap ticket. DON"T for one simple reason if you ever have a problem they can't fix it. You are done and kiss your money god bye.
Cheaptickets has horrible customer service. They try to rip off their customers as much as possible. $50USD on top of the fee that Airlines already charge to change tickets is obsurd. I would suggest booking directly through airlines in order to not be charged ridiulous fees if you end up changing your flight.
Another in La la land. I am sure you have more than one mistake in the procedure. I have been so lucky that every day I keep counting my blessing.
I am going back to Florida thanks to this nice people, I was there a year ago and now I am going back in the company of my brand new wife that I met In Florida last year. I do not have any problems with them, because I know how to read English, I am tolerant, I am not abusive and I do not think that everything has to be exactly my way. I recomend to you dear flabbergasted to read the conditions and requirements. and maybe you'll find a good husband in Florida this time, for what I heard you have looking for a husband for the last 17 years. Don't give up darling. The customer service is not horrible, you are the horrible. You wish that somebody rip you off. Good luck, but is not going to be the fine elements of customer service. My advise Dear Jessie. First you seem a little dumfounded and clueles. Look for Lokimura, lined up with him follow him and do whatever he tells you to do. If you have one of your stupid ideas reject them immediatly. Lokimura knows what to use the free tickets. Hopefully he is not married and if he is , talk to his wife and ask for permision to use Lokimura. In all probabilities she is a japonese woman and she won't mind for some small feee, of course. I'm not the only one it seems to have had problems with Cheaptickets.
I booked 2 flights from Montreal to Italy 3 months ahead and never received my tickets. I tried everything.. but really everything to get those tickets back and nothing. They have horrible service. They told me I had to cancel the flight and book another one and I would get a refund. I had no choice or I wasn't getting home.. Then they told me I had to wait a year to get the refund and now they tell me it's too late, they can't do anything for me. I couldn't even book another flight with that money. This company is a trap. Please take my word for it. I lost $2000 US.

Trying to make a purchase, you web site cheaptickets.com gave me an error message and instructed me to try again. I did and got the error page again. Yet your company put a hold on my bank funds although you sold me no ticket. Almost $2,000 of my money was unavailable for me for several days because of YOUR ERROR. Your company did not assist in removing these holds as your representative promised to. Furthermore, when I asked for assistance in purchasing the ticket over the phone since there were technical problems with your site, one of your agents said, "No." and the other told me it would cost me $25 extra to buy the ticket over the phone. Outrageous! Shameful! Poor customer service to say the least. I have used your company several times over the past few years. I cannot believe I was treated in such a shabby manner.
