The Walt Disney Cruise Line offers two cruise ships: Disney Magic and Disney Wonder. They also own and operate a private island in the Bahamas called Castaway Cay. Disney Cruise Line partnered with Premier Cruise Lines until 1995. At this time Disney Cruise Lines decided to build its own ships: the Disney Magic and the Disney Wonder. The Disney Magic began sailing in 1998 and the Disney Wonder began sailing in 1999. The ships are very similar with only a few variations. Staying with the Disney tradition, the ships are tailored to family fun and adventure. The ships are the first to cater to families, especially those with young children and toddlers.

Disney cruises sail to the Bahamas, the Caribbean, the Mediterranean, and (starting in 2008) the Mexican Riviera. The cruises to the Caribbean make a stop at Castaway Cay. Cruises range from three, four, seven, ten, eleven, fourteen and fifteen nights.

What I liked about www.disneycruses.com:

• This is one of Disney's better sites. I liked it almost as much as DisneyParks.com.
• The site is easy to use. You can search for types of cruises, on-board amenities and ports of call on the homepage.
• When you search for a specific cruise there is a cool virtual trip for you to see where you will be sailing with pictures of what to expect.
• They do a much better job than Disneylandhotel.com with their descriptions of the room as well as showing floorplans and virtual views.
• They have a simple consistent navigation bar.
• The site is fun, has good graphics and is simple and effective.

What I didn't like about www.disneycruises.com:

• Truthfully, there wasn't much that I didn't like. The site was clean and easy to navigate. It was simple to search for cruises and see what was available. They do a good job of showing prices and offering a call number if you have any more questions.

Recommendation: I would highly recommend this site if you want to take a Disney Cruise. It is easy to research your trip and make reservations.
