The Disneyland Hotel was built in 1955 by Jack Wrather. Walt Disney envisioned the hotel, but he had already spent $17 million on the Disneyland theme park and didn't have the funds for the hotel. Throughout his life Jack Wrather would not sell the Disneyland Hotel back to Walt Disney Productions. After Wrather's death in 1988 Michael Eisner, CEO of Walt Disney Productions, bought Wrather Corporation and the rights to the Disneyland Hotel.

What I liked about the site:
- Great navigability. The site is clean and consistent.
- There is a constant navigation bar at the top to find your way easily around the site.
- You can search for specials on hotel reservations
- It's simple to see pricing and make reservations
- There is a link called "Choose your Experience". This feature allows you to choose between the following categories: Families with Toddlers, Families with Kids, Families with Teens, and 1955 Experience. Once you choose your category, a list of activities, rides, restaurants, entertainment and shopping options are presented that will be appropriate for you and your family.

What I didn't like about the site:
- If you type in www.disneylandhotel.com you are redirected to www.disneyland.go.com. It would be more useful to be redirected to the Disneyland Hotel site.
- I'd like to see more pictures and videos of what to expect from the different hotels and the ammenities provided.
Recommendation and Rating
Recommendation: The site is a great place to make reservations for your disneyland hotel experience. I would always recommend calling the reservations line first, to see if better prices are available.
