FashionBug.com is an online site for purchasing women's fashion at substantially reduced prices.
The company began as a chain of retail outlets, which now number more than 1,000 across the United States. Forty-five states have a Fashion Bug location, usually in strip malls(outdoor shopping centers).

FashionBug's primary client base consists of women aged 20 to 49, although they do serve a substantial teenage and children's market (aged 7 and up).
The site is popular for its wide breadth of choices and quick home delivery.
FashionBug.com also features a few select areas for fashion:
- Maternity, including tops, bottoms, swimwear, dresses, plus-size maternity wear, and clearance items. They feature the "bundle of joy" line of maternity wear.
- Intimates, including both plus sizes (bra 40C-44DD, panties size 8-12) and misses sizes (bra 34A-38D, panties size 5-7). The "Loveable" line of intimates created by Hanes exclusively for Fashion Bug is carried online.
- Shoes, including wide widths, flip-flops, casual, dress, athletic and boots. Of course, there is a clearance section here, as well, with many shoes available for less than $10 per pair.
- Accessories, including handbags, jewelry, belts, scarves (and shawls), legwear, and watches
- Gifts (under Accessories), including themed sets with mugs, bath gels, candles, mini-notepads, and frames. These run around $10-15 a piece, but often have a "buy 1, get 1 free" kind of promotion to halve your gift purchase cost.
Giving gifts
There are two ways you can give gifts for FashionBug.com:
- gift cards - a nicely-designed "credit-card style" card with about a dozen designs available. You can enter any value up to $999.99, can affix a 500-character message, and will be sent in the mail (USPS First Class) in 2-3 business days.
- e-gift cards - as the additional "e" would suggest, these are sent electronically, if you really can't wait those extra 2-3 days for delivery (or if your gift recipient isn't reachable by US mail). 12 designs for e-cards are available for personalization.
FashionBug discounts
FashionBug already touts low, discounted prices for its clothing for bargain-minded online shoppers. However, there are additional discounts that can be applied to your order for those really after saving as much money as possible. These promotional codes are entered during the checkout process when ordering online.
- Coupon Craze - currently featuring 3 discount codes: $10 off a $50 purchase, $20 off a $75 purchase, and 15% off your order.
- Deal Hunting - seems to offer the same discount codes, but double-check the site to see if things have changed by the time you order.

Every time fashipon bug runs this contest For $ 1000 you can never access the web site. Over the year I have tried many many times. I shop there quite often and have many transaction codes on my purchase receipts that I canot enter. Is this a for real or is it a scam. MY husband says I'm their best customer because i take advantage of all the sales and coupons and special event sales. I'm terribly disappointed and I aired my complaints to the sales reps at the store where I shop. HAS ANYONE EVER WON THE PRIZE?
I've never won the prize, and I've entered before....But then again I never seem to win anything!!! :(
i never really find good prices out there any more kind of makes me crazy but its true wander if theres going to be fine bargains out there you know but hopful soon.
I would like to see the coordinating jewelry that is available in the stores to also be available online. Would also like the entire lines of clothing to be on website. I love the 1940 line, but live an hour away from a store. Having those two requests met would make me an even BETTER custormer!!!

the clothes at fashion bug have become much much better in quality over the last 20 years.i shop fb quite frequently and am very happy with the styles and sizes.more stores are needed through out worcester county.thanks for keeping me in style and affordability.the coupon savings are great too.
I recently went to Fashion Bug and spent $170.00. When I arrived home I receive a pamplet in the mail with offers for discounts and double rebates. These bargains began on May 13th, the same day I went shopping. I don't understand why I am receiving these pamplets so late and I would think the clerk at the store would ask if I had these. An unhappy customer. I do want to say I love the Fashion Bug for their large variety of good quality clothing at reasonable prices, but also enjoy anything on sale.

Salesperson tried to cheat me. I went in to return two identical blouses and she went out of her way to use an old receipt stapled to my old one to refund me a much lower amount. (wrong receipt) This was not the first itme. I returned an item, of which when I purchased it, I asked for it to be hung, and she refused. When I had return it in the bag she put in in, she complained to another sales person that it was wrinkled and she appeared to be trying to decide if she would refund it and I had my receipt.

shopped at a Beckley, WV FB today and will NEVER shop there again. The sales women there are so freaking rude. They do not greet the customers when they walk in the door...do not ask them if they need help with anything...stare at you like you are from mars but fail to utter a word to you the whole time you are in the store...when they ring you up they STILL do not say a word to you and you are just standing there wondering WHY you did not go to Kohl's where the service is a lot more friendlier...this was my LAST FB shopping experience for sure.

iwould like to find someone interested in setting up a fashionbug in my area. the nearest one is an hour away and i think that a store in my area would thrive due to the lack of in style clothing in the plus size. our area has no place to purchase stylish fashion. you have to buy it in another town. i am willing to start a petishion to show the right person what kind of a clientel they would have in this area. we need something. fashionbug would be perfect. when i bring this subject up to employees in other fashionbug stores they say that they tried having a store there before. the thing is that it was about 15 years ago and i do believe that was when they were newer. now i know that enough people are farmiliar with them that they would do excellent. i would love to be the one to open it but financially andthe fact that i dont now anything about owning abuisness limits me. so please if you know what it is that i can do let me know. i would sure be thankful. amanda
