www.Google Groups.com is a free service from Google where groups of people have discussions about common interests. Google Groups is an online service to set up a group space that lets you discuss online or over email create rich, custom pages.

Google Groups allows users to use Google Search to search all groups with the search box at the top. It does not allow users to obfuscate their own e-mail addresses. However, Google Groups is often accused of lacking security.

It also tracks recent postings on Usenet and non-Usenet groups. One fallacy of Google Groups is that it doesn't provide an option to be notified when someone replies to one of your topics. Most people say that Google Groups is a good place to solve technical problems and most Google products have a support group.

www.GoogleGroups.com isn't as well known as a spam platform, but after some investigation I found that it has become a leading destination for those seeking Google search results for various offers. Google Groups, launched in March 2001 after the acquisition of Deja.com, had been a service allowing people to search and post to Usenet discussion areas.

It also provides pages to help users navigate their way through the site. The Google Groups user interface encourages users to create new mailing-list-style groups, but does not provide any way to create a Usenet group. Many of the Google Groups are part of Usenet. While their archive is the most complete Usenet Archive known to exist, it is not a complete archive prior to the 1990s.
