Nike+
Nike Plus is Nike's online goal tracking running motivator. The online tracking software is free but to get started you need to purchase the Nike+iPod Sport Kit for $29, a Nano and shoes. The Sport Kit includes a Nike sensor that is inserted in your shoe and a receiver that plugs into your iPod Nano. Nike recommends a Nike+ ready shoe. Once you have the kit, Nano and shoe, you can hear your running stats by pushing the center button on your iPod while you are running. Your stats include: pace, distance, calories burned and running time. You can also begin to track your running progress, compete with your friends, and compare your stats with the rest of the world.
