The following is what I liked about www priceline com:

• You can search by city and not just by airport. In a city with multiple airports, ie. New York, this allows you to see all of your options for the cheapest price. Cheaptickets.com requires you to choose an airport.
• The site is simple, clean and easy to navigate
• There is a top nav bar on all of the pages to easily get to where you want to go.
• Gotta love William Shatner

The following is what I didn't like about priceline.com

• It claims to be the cheapest place to buy tickets, but cheaptickets.com was a few bucks cheaper.
• When choosing dates of travel there isn't a calendar pop-out. The calendar is so helpful when trying to book a trip.
• You have to go to a new page to modify your search rather than using a side toolbar on the flight only page. The vacation package gives you the modify your search option to the right.
• I'm not lovin' the "Name your Price" feature. Although, you tell them the price and days, you have no power over the times. It could be anywhere from 5am to 10pm with a max. of one layover for no more than three hours. The problem is you give them your info and they purchase the ticket for you without you seeing it first. I'd assume the probability of you getting an early morning or late evening flight is really high.

Recommendation: The site is well laid out and is simple to use, but for the best deals I would check out cheaptickets.com first. It never hurts to do some price comparisons.
