He claims to be in Malaysia and is a contractor, stranded with no money and no food. Because he is paid by check, he says he cannot cash it to get home. LIES, LIES LIES!!!!! He wants to bilk somebody out of money.

Singlesnet has a very poor, outdated user model, with few features, and no ability to sort results by preference. Their 'support' is totally incompetent, and have shonw themselves to be vindictive when this is pointed out. I have met a couple of nice women there, but the bulk of the 'flirts' recieved are from spoof accounts. these are pretty obvious, such as getting a flirt from someone who did not look at your profile, pictures where the beautiful young woman is obviously not the age listed, and from non-existant towns. Many users believe it is an obvious scam by the site to get users to sign up. My advice is to try Yahoo personals.

First, I went on to singlesnet.com for free. I then proceeded to obtained a membership. I got a few winks and flirts and within 30 min of getting my account, I have not been able to access the web site. I called customer service and all they say is that this happens sometimes. I will give it another change.
I talked with 5 guys from singlenets. I've never experienced any scams ( girl may be not a target) I met 2 of them in person. They post thier updated pictures. Unfortunately, i didn't click with them, but i still keep going. :)
