We came to the Venetian on 9-30-07 for dinner at the Delmonico Steakhouse for our 35th wedding anniversary. Our waiter that night was "Ryan". He was so genuine, thoughtful and seemed to want to take care of us, as if we were his only customers. Upon sitting at the table, my wife noticed the sliverware. It was "silver". She has a metallic condition with her teeth, due to numerous silver fillings if she uses actual "silver" silverware. She can only use stainless steel silverware. We normally carry it, but due to this being a vacation, we forgot to bring it. We told Ryan about the situation, that although we know the steakhouse uses the best silverware, my wife could not enjoy her meal. All she tastes is metal. Ryan left us briefly and then called a wait staff member over to go to the other restaurants in the Venetian, to get a set of "stainless steel silverware". He assured us that there should be no problem getting a set.

The staff member came back with the complete set and made sure this was the type of silverware my wife could eat with and it was. She was able to enjoy our special meal that night of "Chateau briand" .

We just wanted you to know how much we appreciated his care in getting my wife taken care of. He truly has the special talent to take care of his customers and made our dining experience wonderful for our 35th wedding anniversay.

Please share our extreme satisfaction with the manager of the restaurant service.

I have stayed at The Venetian 4 or 5 times and everytime has been great. The rooms are really nice and big, and even though you are in big hotel it never feels like a cattle ranch. I highly recommend this hotel.

P.S. The Grand Lux Cafe is the best coffe shop ever...try it.
