www.wynn.com: Not the Las Vegas site you're looking for?

Www.wynn.com is not the homepage of the beautiful new hotel named after its developer Steve Wynn, instead it's a engineering consulting firm. If you're looking for The Wynn Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, the correct url is: www.wynnlasvegas.com.

The Wynn Las Vegas hotel, opened in 2005, was the previous site of the Desert Inn and is the tallest hotel and casino in Vegas. Its draws are the Wynn Art Collection (no longer a paid attraction but now the artwork is shown throughout the hotel), a Ferrari-Maserati dealership and the Lake of Dreams. The Wynn Hotel and Casino also is the home of Le Reve, the Cirque du soleil type show that is set in a 1 million gallon water oriented theater (Tickets should be available below through eBay).

http www wynn las vegas com is the official homepage of The Wynn Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Personally, I'm not a fan of site. It's a flash site that may be aesthetically pleasing , but slow and not always compatible. The homepage gives you three options: buy tickets, enter site and reservations; I think, this is a page that is not needed. www wynnlasvegas.com offers two shows to buy tickets to at this time: Spamalot and Le Reve. When you enter the site, the page moves...annoying. I like the aesthetics but it's not efficient to have a moving toolbar, plus there's no other easy navigation. When you click on one of the links, ie. "Golf" the same format is given: a moving top and bottom toolbar with an image in the middle...it doesn't make sense. If you're willing to deal with the site, here's what you'll find:

  • Browse the rooms and suites
  • See your dining options
  • Check out their shopping stores
  • Browse entertainment offered
  • Look at their meeting facilities

Hello.,,,, I must say i was very upset at the way the people at the front desk treated me like I was a second class citizen,,,,, very rude,,,,, i was told my room was not ready ,,which was fine ,,, then i had to inquire as to what to do with my bags till it was ready they guy looked at me like I was a big pain,,and then said oooo just take them around the corner too the bell boy ... I was also very disapointed in what a crap room they gave us,, a nice view of some roof tops,, so the bellboy when he broungt up our luggage said that was terriable as the hotel was not even close to being full,, so we called down to desk and got another room they acted like it was a big inconvience,, I wonder if they where paying to stay there how they would feel being treated this way,, also was surpised there was no coffee pot in the room,,, even Motel 6 has that your front desk people need to take a course in how to treat your guess also i had a $100 food voucher,,, and i was givin a very hard time about that being takin off my bill at check out time,, this was my 1st visit to Vegas,,,, its amasing how one rude people at the start of your trip can sour you on returning to the Wynn

My husband and I were guests at Wynn Las Vegas for the first time on March 2008, we enjoyed the golf(regardless the green fee),the spa and fitness room,the casino and a top of the line costumer service.We show up in our Chevy Aveo around all those expensive SUVs and Luxury vehicles and we were welcomed as well and graciously as anybody else,at the registration desk we were also treated like high rollers .We visit Las Vegas at least three times a year,and we have stayed at very nice hotels before,but in the future The Wynn will be our first choise,it is great.We just can not believe the negative comments in this page.Staying at The Wynn is a must when you go Las Vegas and for golfers it is a must to play that beautiful course.

I agree their website is not very good. All flash and not much substance. But Wynn have so much money that he can get it to rank very high. Lots of Hype. Good Hotel but everything way over priced. Four Seasons in Mandalay Bay is a much better deal.
