The reason that I registered with ww.Ymail.com is to reserve my own online ID and real name. This is the first time I got a free email account with my own name. At least Ymail is short and sweet unlike Rocketmail, which seems a little long, doesn’t it? While Hotmail is a little long, Microsoft introduced the @live.com domain not that long ago, which is short and sweet as well. The release of ymail.com is an effort to increase its profile portfolio and make itself an attractive solution. The email offering Yahoo is poised to launch is a @ymail.com extension.

One thing I like more about www.ymail.com is that it groups bubbles together if there are none sent in between. Also it has timestamps on individual messages that I think is great. People often say things such as "Ymail me if I'm hott". Ymail is a type of email inside Whyville. This judgment of hotness is based purely on avatars. That’s right, the home page of ymail isn’t mail it’s top stories. With a big old ad right there in the main panel.

Most of you might think Ymail is nothing but poor copy of gmail ? At present, Yahoo mail has about 266 million users whereas Gmail has about 100 million users. Do you know ymail is an option offered by Yahoo mail? There I created an account with same user name as my yahoo mail account. It is a simple notifier of mail that will be connected of periodic way to Yahoo! Mail to notify the reception of new messages.

Ww.Ymail.com is the new domain under which Yahoo! One can get a new Ymail.com email address by going to http://mail.yahoo.com . Just so you know, YMail is 0.4.1 so hasn’t even made it to .5 yet.

YMail 0.2 (http://ymail.sourceforge.net/) is a status bar program for Mac OS X Panther that periodically logs in to Yahoo! Mail and notifies the user of new emails. Tomorrow, Yahoo is opening two domains it owns: ymail.com and rocketmail.com, according to AppScout . The rocketmail domain name dates back 11 years when Yahoo purchased Four11, courtesy: CNET notes.

It's an effort to simplify email addresses for people so that you don't end up with YourName1974@yahoo.com as your email address. Now it's more likely that YourName@ymail.com or @rocketmail.com will be available.
