Originally registered in 1997, as a site to market the products of Akon plastic enterprises, Inc., it is being used by the renowned musician Akon for the past 2 years. Automatic access to the site is temporarily barred and therefore users are taken to an opening page that reveals a statement and contact information of Vidal.G.Cruz, the owner of the site. By clicking on the link given in this page visitors are taken in to the official site akon.com.
The site is a real dream-come true for all avid Akon fans. This Senagalese-American hip-hop singer, song writer and record producer who rose to fame with his debut album ‘Trouble' has a lot of popular music albums to his credit.
The home page is really eye-catching with a huge poster of the singer opening out in front of you as soon as you enter the site. The site is named after the sophomore album ‘Konvicted' by Akon which was first released in 2006.
