For the Complete Shopping Experience!

Bed Bath and Beyond, the celebrated domestic merchandise retail stores chain, is indeed a one stop shop for your domestic goods shopping! Akin to its offline stores, the online shopping mart of the chain, bedbathandbeyond.com, is packed with commodities essential for your home.

Reflecting the characteristic layout of an online shopping mart, the site looks too overdone at the very first instance. However, users hardly find any difficulty in finding the product they need. The left navigation strip includes links to almost all product categories. For example, the ‘kids/infant' category covers items from girls bedding to baby keepsakes. This way, one can locate the category they are looking for just with few clicks and drags. A search box is included in every page of the website. And by clicking on the ‘Browse by Brand' option you will get a detailed list of the brands in an alphabetical order. Choosing a brand will list you the products included below that.

The product description page carries links to related items, this way you won't find it difficult to find connected products. The features of the product, including the shipping costs, are given along with a picture of it. However, the downside is that the product image cannot be enlarged above a particular limit. This confines the choice of the customer and the feel and texture of the product cannot be observed.

Bed Bath and Beyond store is famous for its comprehensive bridal and gift registry. Whether you wanna give a gift, create a registry or edit your registry, you can get it done at the website. Giving a gift is simple, just key in the first name and last name of the bride or groom in the ‘Give a Gift' section and hit ‘go'. This will return the gift registry of the person and you can place your order by choosing from the list. Creating a registry involves just three simple steps.

If you have a registry with the store, you can enjoy another feature called bridal toolkit. This is an ‘electrical assistant' that helps you to manage and organize all vital tasks for the D-day. This toolkit includes a personal wedding site, timeline, task manager, guest list manager, seating arranger and more. Apart from this you can also get information on bridal shows, ideas and advice. One can also find useful resources like college health guide, financial guides, college tips, and dormitory decorating ideas in this site. The option to create a college registry is also included.

The site, indeed wins the hearts of shopaholics with its unique features!

Your local store tells me that you have what I want available only online, but due to my own stupidity, I can't find it. It is a strand of LIGHTED grapes in a "grapevine" arrangement, total length about 8', 110V, retail cost about $20. Waiting patiently, Dick.

My wife and I just purchased a Chrome Space Saver Etagere and spent two hours

putting together your space saver for installation over a toilet/commode. I

would like to make the following comments for improving your marketing of

this product:

1. There is no mention on the box that this is intended for a standard commode.

We have an elongated bowl/lid. After installation, the unit must be slid forward

and then tilted back to allow the lid and/or seat to be lifted for sitting and/or

cleaning. This negated installing the tip-over hardware.

2. There are 4 sizes of screws. Parts "D" and "F" weren't a problem. However,

parts "G" and "C" were a boondogle in that there were 6 of "G" and 18 of "C",

and so near the same size, it was trauma trying to measure/separate them.

3. Once "G" and"C" screws were separated, I found it was impossible to

determine which went where.

As with so many products imported from outside the USA, graphics/technical writing leave much to be desired.

Thank you for considering my suggestions for improving the marketing of your

product.

My daughter and I annually go to Hamilton Ga every February for a week-end. This year we stopped at the new mall on the way back. Your store was the time eater! We had a dreaming good time. One of my purchases was the Bamboo Folding Dishrack. I was excited to find this as natural accessories are my preferred. Unfortunately due to a flaw in the design it is no longer in use. The top of the slats are flat and the bottom side is recessed. The flatness on the top makes it impossible to place round and small dishes securely on the rack. Any wooden rack I have ever owned has the slats reversed to your design. One on slats on your holder has already come loose and because the surface is flat no dish is secure there. On the positive side, the bamboo is a much stronger wood than any I have previously purchased. It is by far the most attractive dish rack I have seen to date. The flat ware holder is still in use even though the dish rack is not. I sincerely hope that my comments help to improve your product. In February 2008 my daughter and I will again shop in your store on our way back home from the get-away-week-end.

A mostly satisfied customer. Carol Norris

i would like to comment on the fact that bed bath and beyond does not keep it's employees that started with the store because they have a medical disability nor do they keep people who have cancer either they find them a risk even though they are fully recovered. this is the 20th cetury and they should make accomadations for them even if it is not long term. not very happy about this and be careful they really do not care they just want your money and its the cahiers that do all the work around the store with helping the customers.not the mangers

Would someone in your organization change the spelling of my last name on your mail out cards. I continually receive cards addressed to TOM MC COALAN. Many of requests have been made of me - but no action on your part. This is the correct spelling - Tom McCowan, POB 2163, Forest Lakes, AZ 85931. Thank You Again.

With the economy the way it is today and workers being laid off, I just wanted to comment on two of your employees at Bed Bath & Beyond in Merrillvillle IN.

I received sets of Emirill dinnerware a a Christmas gift from the Willowbrook IL store. I called the Merrillville which was closer to me to let them know that one of the boxes was missing two dinner plates, a sandwich plate, a cup and a bowl and one of the dinner plates had a chip.

I spoke to "JOE" and he was so helpful and was willing to replace the chipped plate and missing items. I know that is probably standard procedure with your stores, but Joe was so helpful and considerate and congenial that I felt that I needed to say something about it.

When I went to pick up the pieces (he said he would maill them to me, but I assured him that I frequent your store) a girl by the name of Donna was very helpful. She looked up some info on her computer for me and was also very kind and considerate.

There....I said it and I hope that these two employees will not be among any of your layoffs should it become necessary. With the way stores are operated now, with very little customer service, these two employees were exceptional!!!

Thanks for listening!
