Bridesave.com; Slip-ups in Serving Customers!

It has been a year or more since Bridessave.com; said to be the foremost among online retailers; had ceased their operations. Since its inception in 1999, Bridesave.com has been the most trusted retailer outlet serving the brides with bridal apparels and accessories. But that was until 2005, when this internet retailer giant put an abrupt end to their service. The situation took a graver course when an unrevealed number of brides-to-be who had already placed their orders with the company had to bear with botched wedding parties. And by not furnishing any valid reason for being so indifferent, Bridesave.com has ripped off their once loyal customers.

Bridesave.com had actually won the hearts of millions of brides who had placed their belief on the retailer in making their dreams come true. The website carried over 3800 varieties in bridal gowns and had around 10% of its customers from abroad. A bride-to-be could pick her wedding accessories at a cost anywhere ranging from $155 to $3000. This makes it quite evident that brides were actually confident of making a good buy, but still with no compromise on quality. Moreover the website contained several supporting systems, which made the bargain hunters plan their weddings much easier. Even there were facilities through which the brides could update on the transactions including the time of order, delivery date, shade variation in the selected apparels and accessories as well. From 1999 to the closing days in 2005, this online retailer could manage to direct their growth indicators reach heights.

Bridesave.com's ‘closed our business' came a little early and at the most irrelevant time. Though 2005 saw the peak period with $56.9 million in sales alone, ceasing operations with no prior notices could never be welcomed. However the traders did make an attempt to inform the buyers via email announcing the shut down of the company, with details on retailers and designers whom the brides could approach with their orders. But again there was no word from Bridesave.com on refunding the prepaid amounts. Now that was the last thing any loyal customer would expect from their most trusted brand!

If there are any online retailers who have decided to follow the suit; mind you better refrain from that. Such practices are sure to make online trading unscrupulous and the day wouldn't be far when the buyers shield away from getting involved in online ordering. After all loyalty is not just confined to customers, but is equally expected from the dealers as well.

I loved saving money by using Bridesave.com just make sure you order your dress in plenty of time because my dress arrived last minute but still on time. They tell you an absolute lastest arrival date and that most likely your dress will arrive sooner - don't count on it, my came on the last day, which was still 2 weeks before my wedding so I was fine. The dress needed to be pressed of course but my alterations lady took care of that.

I have been in business online since 1996 selling gowns and shoes. I am a one person business and as you can see by my testimonials, brides and clients are quite pleased.
