So I read the comments and wasn't too pleased. So you are discontinuing the Camel Wides. That wouldn't make me too happy because that's what I smoke. That would upset a lot of people I know come to think of it. Most of the people I know smoke Camel wides, and the other thing is that Indiana no longer accepts the coupons but I just received some in the mail and they work just fine for me so I don't know why everyone else can't use them. I hope they are accepting them in Indiana because if they arent then I guess I won't buy Camels because that's stupid to pay five dollars for a pack of cigarettes. I like to at least sometimes get them for a little cheaper.

Okay here's the thing.....I was told that ";Camel Turkish Gold"; brand are being discontinued. 'What the hell'. Surely there are other folks who feel the way I do. I'll be honest, I've tried the 99's, Lights, Wides, Silver, and Non-filtered, yada, yada. My husband says 'Now maybe you'll Quit smoking.' I thought about it. I've tried other Camel blends and I don't really care for them. Marlboro.......... ";Just say no";. When I'm ready, I will quit, however it's worth thinking about.

I thought you just changed the look of the packs, but no,,,,you had to change the look and flavor of the smokes as well. Lately here in the Seattle Washington area you have instituted a change from the original Camel Filter cigarettes to an new "now more premium tobbacco" Camel Filter Cigarette. I personally do not care for the new type and am considering switching to another brand altogether. I am unable to find your original Camel Filter and do not like the taste of this new product. It is reminiscent of when "New Coke" was first put on the market with no consideration for the people who liked the original. It is my hope that you will change this and at the very least offer us the consumer of your product the choice of either this new brand or the one I personally have been smoking for 27 years. If not, you will at the least have lost myself as one of your customers

I love the original Camel Wides and absolutely cannot stand the "new" blend. I thought I was the only one but after reading these posts, I guess others are actually driving around looking for the old type. I have gone to about 20 stores in my area but now all have run out. And I have given the new blend a fair chance because I know that part of this is what you're used too. But I cannot even get through a single smoke without wanting to gag. I am now on my 2nd box of Reds and starting to get used to them again. This IS stupider than New Coke and I honestly hope your sales tank now.

Stopped by the local 7-11 to pick up a carton of Camels last month and I noticed the box design changed. I commented on it and the clerk said they changed the blend as well. Got home, took a couple puffs and it was the most awful thing. It had a stale harsh taste. Reminded me of a bad Winston, which I do believe is another RJR product. Is the the new Camel blend leftover Winston scrapings.

The new brand taste just like marlboro reds, they do smoke slower then marlboro, but my opinion they were good

The truth is, the new blend of Camels is just cheaper for them to make. That's it. It's a cheaper blend, with who knows what in it that makes it different, but the truth is that it's more profitable for them to sell these rather than the old ones. It's a pure business move. Sucks, considering that the original Camels are in my opinion the best cigarettes out there, but I guess the only way to make them bring it back is for enough people to stop smoking the new blend for them to realize that this move isn't profitable at all.

I have found the American Spirit brand to taste more like my old camel lights. I no longer buy Camels since the "remastering". They taste like stale Marlboro's. If you are in the same boat, trust me - give the spirits a try. Sorry Camel, it really did hurt to have to switch it up. But your product is terrible.
