After nearly 10 years of being a loyal prompt paying customer w/ Capital One Bank, I have been rejected for a credit card limit increase (on more than one occasion)...and still don't know why this is so.

All of the responses are the same..."we are not able to increase your credit limit at this time".

To Real Estate Department:

FOR SALE BY OWNERS

My family and I have inherited a piece of property that belonged to our grandfather, Edward Beach, in Fort Worth, Texas. The property is located at

1917 N. Beach Street (the street was named after our grandfather) in the Haltom City section of town between Belknap and 28th Street. This property is a corner lot at Beach and Selma Street. Beach Street is one of the longest streets in the city and is a high traffic area. At this time there is a house on the property. The value is in the land and would make a great investment. We have talked to several of the property owners adjacent to this lot and they have shown great interest in selling also.

Please contact me in Dallas, Texas, at 214 381-6696 if you have questions or want more information.

Thank you,

Ellen Beach Jones

I HAVE BEEN A CHARGE CUSTOMER FOR A FEW YEARS. I HAVE ALWALYS PAID OFF MY BALANCE IN FULL ON TIME, YET I HAVE BEEN CHARGED $29.00 ALMOST EVERY MONTH BECAUSE OF A "OVER THE LIMIT" FEE (WHICH IN ONE MONTH IT WAS A WHOOPING $3.00). SEVERAL TIMES I WAS CHARGED A FEE EVEN THOUGH MY STATEMENT BALANCE WAS UNDER THE LIMIT. I PAID THE BALANCE IN FULL, AND THE FOLLOWING MONTH I WAS CHARGED. I CALLED FOR AN EXPLAINATION AND WAS TOLD THAT SOME CHARGE THAT CAME THROUGH AFTER MY CLOSING DATE MADE MY ACCOUNT OVER THE LIMIT. I THOUGHT THAT THIS WAS A CLOSING DATE TO CLOSING DATE ACCOUNT--WHAT A SCAM. WHEN I CALL TO TALK TO SOMEONE THERE, I EITHER CANT UNDERSTAND THEM OR I FEEL I'M GETTING THE RUN AROUND. I AM VERY DISPLEASED WITH THIS BANK. I AM CONSIDERING GOING ELSEWHERE AS SOON AS I CAN OPEN UP AN ACCOUNT WITH A MORE CUSTOMER FRIENDLY BANK.
