I am disgusted with the "letter" and Discover Card "rewards" bait!! IT IS NOT easy to do, in fact, I could find NO place to "redeem" my cashback bonus. SO......I'm NO LONGER using this card as it was the REASON that I got it.

I have called the 800 number on the letter sent and have had no problem redeeming. I also think it is difficult to locate the online way to redeem.
I had no problem redeeming my cashback bonus using the telephone # 1-800-discover. It was a little lengthy tho and they had to send it to my checking acct.. The operator, Chris, was very patient and courteous.

The only way to receive your cashback from this site is to have it electronically transfered to your checking account. Hope this helps many of you.

People - Pick up the phone, call 1-800-347-2683 (1-800-DISCOVER). This is where you pay your bill over the phone, but if you press zero ( 0 ) you'll be transferred to a real live person, and all your questions will be answered. I just did and got my questions concerning the Double Cashback Bonus answered by a friendly competent lady. Remember, not everything can be done over the internet.
I personally am not confortable giving out my checking account number to a credit card company. Discover won't send you a personal check. All my other credit cards don't seem to have a problem doing so. That being said keep your $20.00 and your card.
poor English, improper capitalization, misuse of words-no wonder our questions can't be simply answered online if the writer of info about the site doesn't understand our language. Where do I find "about your card"?--don't see any tab for it as was stated. Definitely bad PR for Discover Card.
Forget doing this by the internet-just call Discover Card at the number listed on the letter you received informing you of your Cashback Bonus--it is 1-800-347-2683. Follow the prompts listed on the menu--there is one for Cashback Rewards--and you can get the cash back or go to the department you want and have a gift card mailed to you. It was very easy to use, and I didn't have to talk to a "live person". However, it told me I was only eligible for $40.00, when I actually had $55.00 in my account. That was disappointing. Also, I was able to do this at 1:30 A.M. which was great--I didn't have to call during special hours.

We have been unable to redeem our cashback bonus on the internet. We have gone everywhere on the internet and cannot find where we can redeem our cashback bonus. Why don't you just credit our account with the $20. It would be much easier.
The site is discovercard.com/redeem. I tried the 1-800 #, but it takes way too long. When I accessed the site, I had to setup a log-on id and password THEN I could see the different options. BUT BEWARE ! There are limits. If you only have $ 20, there are very few places where you can get a gift card. The more you have in rewards, the more options you have to select a gift card. Good luck !
I found the easiest way to redeem your cashback bonus is to call the number on your flyer you received through the mail (1-800-347-2683). You get an automated recording and simply follow the prompts. It took about 5 minutes to complete. I chose a gift card to be mailed to my home address.

Becky has it right - call the 800# to get a gift card mailed to the billing address. It did not take long at all. There is also an option regarding the Double Bonus but I didn't go there. Good luck!

Stupid to keep sending out letters to redeem cash back bonus online. All these people having the same problem....no discover.com/redeem that works! I give up. Guess I'll try the phone number.
I couldn't find any way to redeem online, so just called the phone number, followed the prompts and cashed in for a restaurant gift card in less than two minutes. Don't waste your time on the website given in the flyers.
Still, I wish they simply would send a check or automatically credit my account annually, like when the program first began. Remember: CASHBACK bonus means CASH back.

We really like and use our discovery card because they are so quick on giving our cash back which we have them pay on the bill. We always call and it has not been a problem for several years. I can not respect a company that gives out bogus directions. I spent at least an half-hour trying to find the discover.com/redeem and all i got was more irritated by the second. I never could find the redeem arrangement on my computer. I will try calling tomorrow when I have cooled down. If I have one bit of difficulty I will cut the card u;up into small pieces and flush it down the toilet.
I have been a Discover Card customer since the card itself was still in diapers. There once was a time when you could get your cashback in the form of a simple check or a credit to your account, Now that you have advertisers you seem to have forgotten your basic customer from whence most profits come. How about fixing that?
