from a personal experience having no choice but to apply for a restraining order can be a terifying ordeal even for a man.my perpatraiter threatened to stab me in the heart and said if he goes to jail that i was a dead man.when the person he said it to told me,i immediately called the cops.they gave him a violation but didn't arrest him.he had phone call violations,walking on my property,asking his mother to retreive deadly knives out of his bedroom.when we went to court on the threatening to stab me in the heart it was dismissed because he didn't say to tell rick i'm going to stab him.it was said through a third party and the phone call threats were thrown out too.he also has threatened me to have 5 guys with baseball bats break my legs.i'm afraid to leave my house restraining order or not .with a couple of interventions i have lived the last 3or4 months without any threats or bodily harm,i know god is one of them!
