LimeWire for Hassle-free File Sharing

Limewire.com is a fast and easy-to-use file sharing program which is unique in that it contains no spyware, adware or any other bundled software. Limewire is also compatible with all major platforms and is freely available to the public. It has been developed partly by a devoted programmer community.

The homepage, done in shades of lime green against a white background, is rather bare and free of any kind of clutter. LimeWire-The Fastest File Sharing Program on the Planet, says the caption on top. The options on the homepage are the following-Fast Downloads, No Spyware or Adware, Works behind Firewalls and Runs on Windows, Mac & Linux. There is also a big red button which says Get it Now here. If you hit this button, you will reach a page where there is a listing of the features of LimeWire Pro compared to the Basic (free) version. Underneath both are the options-Get Pro and Get Basic.

The other options in this page are download, features, support, about and open source. The top ten features are listed in the features page. The details of the company can be found under the section called About Us. In support, you can find a series of topics like LimeWire User Guide, Frequently Asked Questions, About Using P2P Safely etc.

There is also a Blog option here where you can find articles posted by bloggers. On the right, the topics of the blogs will be listed according to category- music, news, office, opinion etc. The blogs are also according to date-May 2007, February 2007 etc. There is also an option called videos here where you can find the videos uploaded by the members.

There are no advertisements whatsoever anywhere in the site. There is also an option for a change of language here. You can choose from among around fifteen different languages.
