Spice it up at Mc Donald's

The Mac Donald's website is as trendy and fun as the rest of the company. The site has customized websites with the corresponding languages for each country.

Once you have selected the site of your choice, USA, for example, you will reach the homepage done in the signature colors of the company-red and yellow.

The menu tabs on top done against the picture of a smiling girl have these options-Havin' Fun, Food, Nutrition and Fitness, Sports, Ronald McDonald, Work@McDonald's, In the News, Get Shoppin and Good Works.

Pictures of appetizing looking meals welcome visitors to the Havin' Fun page. These are also accompanied by equally mouth-watering descriptions of those meals-for instance, warm, crispy chicken, cheddar jack cheese, fresh lettuce and creamy ranch sauce all wrapped up in a soft flour tortilla. The Happy Meal tab opens into almost another site altogether with plenty of options to keep children occupied for hours.

You can check out Mc Donald's range of balanced diets consisting of high-quality foods under the Food, Nutrition and Fitness tab. The quality of every item of food is elaborated here, categorized under the heads-dairy, produce, meats, beverages and condiments. Click on any of these, dairy for example and you can find a write-up on each dairy product-whether it is cheese, milk, yogurt or ice cream.

The tab Ronald@McDonald has a variety of interesting and creative games and activities for children. Interestingly, one of the two tabs in the main page here is Grown-ups! Kids can color, learn, download, as well as print their creations and do much more here. The games are fun but also aimed at developing the skills of children.

The graphics of the site are simply amazing. Each and every page of the site is also very colorfully and creatively done. In the More for Mom section under Nutrition and Fitness, for example, you can find four children sitting with Mc Donald's products in front of them. In the background is an animated scene with birds, mountains, clouds and flowers, where the offers pass by written in different colored kites. However, the downloading time is quite manageable and kids will find the whole thing easily navigable.

The site generates revenue from the various advertisements which are placed discreetly, mostly at the bottom of most pages.
