Windowsmedia.com is a family of websites and web based services. One of the primary functions of the site is to allow access to streaming audio, video and radio stations.

The homepage of the site, done against a white background is quite attractive with clips and trailers of movies and music albums scattered all over it. The main toolbar on top has these options -home, music, movies, TV / celebs, radio, games and site index. There is also a search bar on the top right corner. The trailers of some of the most popular shows are displayed below this; of the fantastic four, stone sour, hell's kitchen, ratatouille etc. There is more than one clip for some of them.

Below this you can find videos of popular pop albums, of interviews, those of supermodels etc. The section hot download for your PC has again, movie trailers. Hollywood Gossip has videos of celebrities like Matthew McConaughey, Michael Moore, Jennifer Aniston etc.

In Music, you can find the music categorized on the right panel according to genre-artists spotlight, artists a-z, popaholics, Artist of the month, dance and DJ, Hip-Hop Line-up etc. The videos of some of the most popular music albums are listed beneath- MIA, Justin Timberlake, Brick & Lace etc.

In TV/ Celebs, you can again find trailers of TV shows. An interesting section here is the classic commercials section where you can find some of the best commercials listed with the videos.

You can find a totally different set of options here. On the panel on the right, you can find options like internet radio, free media player, emerging artists, alternative and Indie etc. Beneath this, you can find a section which lists the top four radio station channels- Total Rock, Batanga, 1.FM-X and Radio Max. Music. In Emerging Artists, you can check out music's up and coming talents. Beneath this you can find the top 40 section which has the best stations listed. There is also a section called Find Radio Stations here.

In games, the top games are listed as icons- Showrun, Tenchu, Time Crisis 4, Ultima Online etc. Clicking on any of these will take you to an independent site where you can download and start playing the games.

Site Index has all the videos, music tracks, photos etc. categorized in one single page. The site generates revenue from the various advertisements which can be found all over the site.
