you cant do that on radio

Several years ago we were involved on the periphiries of Local Radio here in the Uk.

It was a strange system that allowed broadcasts for a period of time under a Restricted Service License.

We were keen on developing programming for all sectors of our community and as such regularly held "Brain-storming" sessions in our local public house, just to lubricate the thought cells you understand.

One particular discussion was around programmes that could not be made for radio. These were the likes of :

Fishing

Origami

Chess

Magic Tricks

among many others too tedious to tell.

Several years go by and I am listening to BBC Radio 4 when they started a programme about magic tricks on the radio.

Dumb Struck or what!!!!

So come on people lets see your ideas for items you couldn't make a radio programme about and lets throw down the challenge to see if we can get them made.

I suppose a podcast would do, things have moved on since our last brainstorming, what with digital radio, podcasting etc.

But video hasn't killed the radio star!! its still alive and well.

Instead we get it all digitally, loads of channels of TV and Radio.
