You Kill Me is an upcoming 2007 comedy thriller about the Mafia. It’s being directed by John Dahl from a screenplay by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. The film stars Ben Kingsley, Tea Leoni, Luke Wilson, Philip Baker Hall, Martin Henderson, Joan Allen, and Bill Pullman. You Kill Me is being produced by five production companies and is being distributed by IFC Films with a theatrical release date of June 27, 2007.

Ben Kingsley plays Frank Falenczyk, a hit man for his Polish mob family in Buffalo, New York. When Frank’s alcohol addiction causes him to mess up a critical assignment, his uncle Roman (Philip Baker Hall) has no choice but to force him to seek help. Frank winds up in San Francisco, where he gets a job at a mortuary and starts attending AA meetings. At the mortuary, he falls for a client named Lauren (Tea Leoni). When an Irish gang starts causing trouble back in Buffalo, Frank, with Lauren in tow, must head home and straighten things out.

Sir Ben Kingsley is a British-born Academy Award-winning actor who has starred in dozens of films. He won the Academy Award for best actor for his portrayal of Mohandas Gandhi in the 1982 biopic Gandhi. He was nominated for a best supporting actor Academy Award for playing Dan Logan in 2003’s Sexy Beast.

Tea Leoni is married to actor David Duchovny (Agent Fox Mulder from TV’s The X-Files) and has been in numerous films. She also played the lead role of Nora Wilde in the television show The Naked Truth. She is perhaps best known for her show, as well as playing Deborah Clasky (wife to Adam Sandler’s character) in Spanglish, and Amanda Kirby in Jurassic Park III.

A promotional trailer for the film is yet to be released, but here’s a Live Aid commercial with Ben Kingsley, to give you an idea of the screen presence this man has, even when he’s being less than serious.
