The request came from my 88 year old mother
I want to visit with my friend..since I have moved
He and I were good together, even if he stayed to long
But my feelings for him are very strong
Please I want to see him tomorrow...OK ?
He called me last night and he misses me also
You know it is not easy for us....can you see that?
Can I remember what I asked you for...Are we moving again?
I have packed everything..am ready to go.
No Mother we already have moved..we need to clean up now
I have picked up your friend and made arrangement for lunch
I know you two like it a bunch...it is good here..he will like it
His walker is right here mom..and he isn't cold
Put the blanket around your shoulder's..you care so much
The hall is long and he is slow..but it is worth it..you know ?
Look the sun is shining today and it isn't so cold..
We can walk outside if you would like to go
The bingo game starts soon..would you like to join or sit and moon?
I must return Him to his place as he needs his meds real soon
You are tired and need a nap and he can't sit on your lap.
I will take him home and we will do this do this again after your nap
Tomorrow is Sunday and we must go to church
So let's not forget the birds on the their perch
You do hear the birds sing and sing.it is so sweet
So here we go to the prayers that they teach.
Breakfast? if you choose..but if Bob can come
I will have to check Mother with his son.
We can meet again with him very soon
But for today...you must give him a rest
Cause he does his very best....

Well he misses her more then she misses him...but I went and got him at the facility he stays at walker and all and took him over to where we just moved her and then I arranged for them to have lunch together.
They sat in a family room and I plunked on a piano while they held hands and chatted. After lunch I had to get him back so he could take his meds. I had brought a suitcase full of knink knacks that she keeps in a china cabinet ( which are actually valuable) and dilled it up while they were eating. Unbeknownest to her and while we were leaving I had the empty suitcase and she kept asking where we were sleeping tonight? I think she thought I was stealing her boyfriend away. He has dementia also just not as bad.
She asked me again on sunday when I picked her up for church 3 times "where did you sleep last night"? Oh dear I just need to write a book of all the funny things. At least she has a sense of humor and / or is not a grouch with dementia. she is a real sweetie mostly.
