Bookmarks - Soon to Be Phased Out

We recently announced on our blog that bookmarks will be phased out. Before the feature is retured, we will provide a facility for you to download all of your HubPages bookmarks, for importing into your browser.

We will share instructions on doing this below once we have enabled that facility.

There are a ton of Hubs published on HubPages every single day and trying to keep up with the ones that you find the most interesting is a task in itself, which is why there's a Bookmarking system that can help you keep track of the Hubs that you don't want to forget about. By Bookmarking Hubs you are not only able to save them for a later time, but you can also group them so that you can keep your favorite Hubs organized the way that you want them to be.

Bookmarking Hubs is an easy process that's great for helping you remember all of the awesome Hubs that you read while surfing around HubPages. Your brain can only hold so much stuff, which is why Bookmarking comes in so handy for fine Hubbers such as yourself. To Bookmark any Hub that you'd like to save all you need to do is click the Bookmark this Hub link, as shown in photo to the right.

After clicking the Bookmark this Hub link you'll be given a new interface, as shown below that allows you to add the Hub to a specific Bookmark folder that you've already created or that you'd like to create new on the fly. If you create a new folder on the fly, then the Hub will automatically be saved in that folder after you click the Add bookmark button.

If you want to save the Bookmark to a folder that you're already created, then you can select it in the dropdown menu and then click the Save bookmark button to save it.

If you would like to manage all of your Bookmarks, the place you should check out is the Your Bookmarks page. The Your Bookmarks page is where you can create Bookmark Groups, organize your Bookmarked Hubs and Delete any Bookmarked Hubs that you don't need saved anymore.  Your Bookmarks page is in your My Account page under the Activities tab and Bookmarks link.  

Folders

This is where you can add, rename and delete Bookmark Folders. The Bookmark Folders are where you'll store your Bookmarked Hubs once you start saving them.

Bookmarked Hubs

You can easily view, delete and move your various Bookmarked Hubs in this section. Your Folders will be sorted alphabetically in this section once they're created.
