: A Poem of Love and Deceit; Fool's Gold

A Poem About False Love: Fool's Gold

She found her long lost paradise

Within his dark deceitful eyes

Like a miner rushing for gold

He plundered deep her naked soul

Moth drawn into raging fire

Her hunger feeding his desire

She yield to the tender caress

He explore her deepest recess

Eyes shut tight she hides her weakness

Velvet touch fills the emptiness

Innate magnetic source took hold

Surging sinuous stream unfold

Quickening breaths torrid fever

Dam burst into gushing river

No power could hold back the tide

That rushed and flowed deep down inside

Tangled bodies glistening still

The potent essence swirls and spill

Melts in crucible of pleasure

She held tight her pyrite treasure

Bodies glow in rapturous bliss

Cocooned inside warm lover's mist

As waves give meed to water's edge

Forever love her solemn pledge

A secret smile in knowing eyes

The truth behind his guile and lies

The miner found the mother lode

The rush for lust his only code

Jo,

You had me from your title

Men like that are never idle

They like to pan for gold

Until you have given them

Your heart and soul

Beautiful, voted that way and shared

Hugs with Blessings

Shyron

Theater girl, a pleasure to see you. Yes we've all been there, it's almost a rite of passage, the trick is seeing it for what it is, without letting it blight the rest of our lives. I appreciate the visit and comment, my best to you and enjoy the weekend.

If I'm really honest my deceitful friend could be anyone from the millions of cheaters and users out there. Thank you for checking out my lustful poem. :)

Flourish, so very true, I wouldn't want to go back there again....it's funny; but when we're young and naïve, it feels like life and death, but looking back one wonders what all the fuss was about. :) Thank you for stopping by, always appreciated and my best to you.

I guess we've all met one of those! Then they only end up sad and lonely, don't they? Great choice of vocabulary, great rhythm - you hint right at the beginning that this is not going to end well, so we want to read on and find out why - perfect.
