A Haiku Poem About Winter Snow: A Bird's Eye View

A Bird's Eye View

Soft the drifting flakes

Drabness into virgin white

Hush, tranquillity

Hi Nell, lovely to see you. Yes, The first snow fall is exciting but it soon becomes a pain, my husband got out of the car yesterday and fell down on his butt. Thank you for checking this out, much appreciated, my best to you.

Hi there Irish, Looks like you're having a little too much of the white stuff on the other side of the pond. We've got just enough to feel romantic about it at the moment, but apparently, there's much more on the way. Thank you for stopping by, always a pleasure.

Well Jo - I didn't think it would be possible but I must admit you did grab my attention toward the other side of this white stuff - the true beauty of it.

Although my back may disagree as I have been shoveling it morning, noon and night. At least I can say the snow falling in my yard is virginal. That's about it though!

Regards my poetic friend.

Hi wetnose, I hope Roscoe and the gang are well, thank you for stopping by. Yes, the snow is pretty, when you're inside looking out, but sometimes you just want to get right into it to feel like you're five again :).

Billy, nice to know you enjoyed the hub. This is our second bout of snow, the first was before Christmas but it was little more than a flurry, but this I love.

Just so know, I'm thinking about your not so little writing contest, :))my laptop got sick and died this week. Fortunately, my old man just brought this one home today, we're just getting to know each other, so it's a maybe. If not this, then definitely next time, but it's a great idea. My best as always, I hope all is well with you.
