13 Years And Going

What's It All About?

Something may have went wrong along the way, maybe I rushed to conclusions

Maybe I seen something in you that was pause for my confusions

Everyday I looked close for some sign of change, for some resolution

I wanted answers but nothing would satisify my own thinking

I began to follow a path alone and in my traveling, I decided to play real hard and if you could follow I would let you.

Now begins my own journey and in my heart I want your companionship

I don't want to leave you behind or be dragged back by you.

You are either going to keep up and be happy to come along, but in your search for what is right you must find your own song.

For I write mine, and you write yours but in the end they will make their own story

If this is what love is all about, then we shouldn't miss the story

Don't discard what you have learned and what you will be learning

hold it fast to your heart and make it your own, you'll see it's worth owning

I hope you find the joy that I feel when wrapped up in my learning

It is such a blessing to know that I can stll keep up the journey

Hi Primpo, never thought you had that poetic side. I enjoyed it. We all have our journeys to take. ALong the way we leave people behind. But we do meet others along the way.

Thanks Jo. I used to write a lot of poetry and songs and even got a song in a movie. I'll continue. Just school takes up a lot of time and this is one way to vent. Thanks for stopping by.
