My head trying to make sense
Reworking every possible reason
I keep coming up with a cry of why
Silence and shock
The unconceivable happens
Helpless and vulnerable
I focus on ways to move forward
Regaining any thoughts of hope
Any feeling a little brighter
Realizing so many lives have been changed forever
What can I do to help ?
How can I show I care ?
Motionless I think
Ideas begin to drift into my mind
Eagerly I reach out to discover
New choices I never seen before
If I keep showing people the good is never gone
Be thankful for all we have
Find ways every day
To share thoughts that make people happy
For a minute is a great start
Where they to can find something good
Knowing they will show other people how to do the same
A chain reaction that starts from our imagination
That can only create more good
In time we can all help someone
Find new joy
Return to peace and give compassion
A love so strong
That carries us along
Through everything we go through
Bringing out our personal best
That gives us many reasons
To keep on living
Enjoying all things beautiful
Where the wonderful returns to it's proper place
A wise choice
That we can all appreciate and share
