A Friend To The End
My Life Is A Shambles
My life is a shambles,
My life is a mess.
Things are going so
Down hill, I guess...
I'll just have to try,
And get things straightened out.
Of course! I can do it,
All by myself.
I'm a strong person,
I have a strong will.
I'll do whatever I can,
Even if I have to kill
Myself doing it in the process......
Things are getting worse,
I thought that they'd get better.
Maybe I should sit down,
And write my friend a letter.
And ask for her advice,
I know she always prays.
Maybe she'll include me,
In all her prayerful ways.
What should I ask her?
WHAT SHALL I DO?
I am so confused right now.
I wish that I could slew,
Myself to get away,
For this 'ol terrible world.
For if I were dead,
Who would really even care?
I got an answer from my friend,
She said that, "Jesus Cares"!
He'll take your burdens from you,
And give you peace beyond compare.
She told me I could have Him,
As my ever close friend too.
All I have to do is ask Him,
And He will lead me to....
Everlasting Happiness and,
Everlasting Life.
Free from all my troubles,
Worry, grief, and strife.
So, I asked Him in my life,
And now I feel so new!
I never knew I could feel so good,
But my friend certainly knew.
For you see, the friend I talk of,
Is a friend I've known for years.
I've never really noticed her,
'Cause I've always had a fear.
For her and her friend Jesus,
But now it all comes clear.
For now, He's my friend too,
Right to the very end........
No matter what you are facing in life that is difficult and hard to bear, there is an answer and a hope. His name is Jesus. He loves you more than you will ever know, think or even imagine.
Isaiah 40:28~31 (Amplified Bible) Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, The Creator of the ends of the earth, does not faint or grow weary; there is no searching of His understanding. v.29 He gives power to the faint and weary, and to him who has no might He increases strength ~ causing it to multiply and making it abound. (II Corinthians 12:9). v.30 Even youths shall faint and be weary, and the selected young men shall feebly stumble and fall exhausted; v.31 But those who wait for the Lord ~ who expect, look for and hope in Him ~ shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up (close to God) as eagles (mount up to the sun); they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint or become tired. (Hebrews 12:1~3).
Please let Jesus be your friend too. He will never ever let you down. People in this world will let you down, hurt you, and discourage you. Jesus never will. He is the best friend you could ever have.
When life gets so hard that you just don't think you can take anymore of it ... talk to God. He would love to hear from you! He really does understand what you are experiencing in life. Think about what he went through while He was here on earth. He died ... for you, With all that He endured, don't you think He knows your pain, sorrow, troubles, and all the cares on your heart? Yes, He does. If you haven't yet, please give everything to God. You will never regret it ... I guarantee it!!
