The Unicorn

Unicorn in the woods
Unicorn in the woods

I live in a land of never never,

yet I live in a land that is real - but unreal.

I have the power of all that is mystery and enchantment

passed down to me from the God's before time.

I have an aura of presence about me,

right from when time first began.

I am a God of the forest

a destroyer of all that is dark.

With my coat of pure brilliant white

and my long golden coiled spur.

I will protect those who believe in me

and in all that is good.

I stand high above men,

and I walk the path

of all that is righteous and innocent.

In this world and in the next.

I live in the hearts and minds of children,

so I am not so much fantasy

as I am reality.

I am all of the mysteries undiscovered.

I am all what I write I am

For I am -

The Unicorn

  • Oh Lord, I Thank Thee

Having a religious background, this poem gives thanks to my Lord. With whom I feel blessed to have such gifts, given from Him. To this day I thank him for giving me a tool in which I can share.

  • We Will Meet Again, Dad

We all lose a loved one, and no matter who we lose; there is no words that can bring them back. It is just with our memories, that we keep them alive.

  • The Man On The Moon Has Gone

This is just a silly poem, one that got my nephews and nieces asking all sort of silly question, but laughed at the very end.

Wow, Peter...gorgeous poem. I read it to my daughter and she liked it, too. :0)
