A Grant of Grace (a poem of inspiration)

America the great...a beacon to the world...
America the great...a beacon to the world...
By God's own grace...we live in this wonderful place...
By God's own grace...we live in this wonderful place...
We must stand up...never to fall from His grace...
We must stand up...never to fall from His grace...
For when we condemn...chastise others...we fall down in the Lord God's eyes...
For when we condemn...chastise others...we fall down in the Lord God's eyes...
We each have been given the greatest gift...life, and wonderful breath...by our God...
We each have been given the greatest gift...life, and wonderful breath...by our God...
We shine when we do his good will...showing goodness and love to our brothers upon this earth...
We shine when we do his good will...showing goodness and love to our brothers upon this earth...
Our Lord God...grandest artist and creator of us all...
Our Lord God...grandest artist and creator of us all...

Yes...from sea to shining sea,

the Lord God did grant to us his grace,

As proof of this benevolent act,

is to be seen in every grateful face.

The most beautiful mountain tops,

To the wave swept ocean's shores,

Reflect a magnanimous and strongest love,

This, to all that he so adores.

America, the grandest country, exemplified,

by its fondest freedoms, all so fair,

A wonderful exposition, as an exclamation...

That of an all giving father's care.

A shinning and monumental work of art,

Created by the greatest one's hands,

Our gifted artist, who has so smiled upon us,

This, every follower, so understands.

We, as a symbol of the free... the just...

must strive to serve this image, very well,

When we fall down in our deeds, as a contempt...

in our stewardship, we do each so fail.

Those who seek to condemn, in the worst way,

their actions, all to be seen, as in gravest question,

It is the worthy ones, all who do faithfully comply,

Living in honor and goodness, as inspiration.

Smiling expressions of every fond race,

All people to stand upon the soil, we embrace,

Serve as beacons, shone all around this earth,

and are the light so seen, by God's loving grace.

We are his stewards of the earth and serve as his beacon of light in our great country of America...may God bless us and keep us...Amen

We do our best to echo these marvelous sentiments in our home. We have the added grace here to celebrate my wife's immigration to here from a foreign land. We love America and give thanks.

That is truly the meaning of what "Americans" really means. It makes sense to use this as a reminder to all, and I thank you.

What a lovely and meaningful poem whonu. Most of us go through life thinking that we are the only one when the world was created for all. We all have to know and remember this. I voted this +++, shared and pinned it.
