A Haiku - Charisma
Charisma: some have it, some don't. It is neither good, nor bad. It just is.
Charismatic, as applied to an individual, is like iron or copper pyrites as applied to gold.
I thought: who is he?
She said, "He has charisma."
Surface shine, not deep.
Fool's gold shines lots too.
But won't buy me an ice cream;
Won't settle a debt.
Leaders have had it.
Then failed to show good wisdom.
Hitler, Mao, and such.
We find it rarely.
Charisma may be God-given.
What man does...the proof.

By the ending days of winter all of nature yearns for spring.
November: the month when "The war to end all wars" ended; yet wars go on. November: the month when America's elections end, and governments go on.
What defines a true leader? It isn't just charisma and sensing their power. It isn't just making us afraid so we are mobilized. It's being true, honest, fair, up front, and out front. This Haiku examines leadership.
