A Haiku - Man

Being mindful of Self

What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? (Psalm 8:4)

Man is awkward, but

Aware of his shortcomings;

Never meant to fail.

Interesting double entendre on last line. I left me puzzling a bit. Nice work.

Thank you, David. In keeping with the expression that "God didn't make no junk!" I am sure our "spark of divinity" was meant to be fanned, not to go out, and that we are indeed "Never meant to fail." What fun to have made a Haiku which is also an Acrostic!

Very nice. Short. Sweet. Sincere. Full of meaning.

Welcome to hubpages Perspycacious and thanks for the following. I am impressed with the number of hubs you have written in such a short time. I envy you. So much to write about and to say, but, time, where do you find it? lol

Looking forward to reading more of your work. Enjoy your stay.

How very true; and written with so few words that encompass so much of who “man” is. This is marvelous and what Haiku is all about.
