Heather Laced Love Songs.

Those Heather filled moors

Conjure whispers in the wind

Such desolate fears.

Sweet sad aromas

To match each lonely heartbeat

My true love now gone.

Whispers in the wind

The musings of lonely hearts

Lonely caresses.

Each clearly pained soul

As haunting images seep

Grating loneliness.

A single tear falls

Such dull and pained dewdrop

True signs of sadness.

Never again pick

A bouquet of nature's love

Such withering blooms.

Her clandestine dream

From loneliness's deep pain

Her heart now a void.

A hushed momentum

Reality or mirage

To dare to believe.

Heartbeats now clearer

The horizon's clear meaning

Cheeks wet with teardrops.

Almost a shadow

Advancing with intention

Heather filled sweetness.

An intimate path

The stabbing of fresh beliefs

Reaching my pained heart.

Awash with sunrays

Sweet lips to caress and kiss

Not from a stranger.

My struggling heart lifts

To embrace a hope thought lost

In your arms I melt.

The moors of heather

Play that haunting melody

Bitter sweet moments.

Days of blind sadness

Evolved in the brand new dawn

Heather laced love songs.

Heather laced love songs

Eternally embrace

A love's broken wing

To be healed ;to know love

Happiness a shimmering pleasure

Ever flowing tunes of love

Ripe is the sparkling sun.

x

Lovers walk hand in hand

A promise unspoken but true

Caressing deep velvet tones

Enveloped in nature's dewdrops

Dear is the belief so true.

x

Love songs tender

On each mornings dawn

Victorious is love's sweet strength

Energies surged as one.

x

Symphonies from the heavens

Overcome each sadness each tear

Never-ending the tune of choirs

Generous the needs of lovers

Sweet heather laced embraces bring about the love songs of life.

Beautiful, Eddy. I love heather. It's so soft and wispy. Your words flow in the breeze.

Hi Eddy, I love this style of taking the title and using those letters to start the first word of each line. Well done, beautiful.

This is magical Poetry! I wish I could write so good. What Imagery! What feelings and emotions! I am really awestruck! Your Poetry is awesome really!

One small suggestion from my side: don't include cross-marks in between paragraphs, it takes away the sheen of such free-flowing verse, at least that is what I felt.

Hope to read more of such rare gems from an Awesome Poet!

I do not know how you do it, but you just publish one incredible hub right after another. "Heather Laced Love Songs" is such an endearing and evocative title, and the accompanying poetry just as much. V+++

Much Enjoyed,

Kim

Eddy, this is so beautiful and some really memorable lines. I don't remember heather in Wales, though there was plenty in Scotland - and it was so tall we could walk under it in the Canaries!
