A Light Shining Through ( a poem of inspiration and hope)
The bellicose, the angry, the wild snarling dogs,
Those most blood thirsty, hungry wolves of war,
A taste for flesh and domination, soon defeated,
All the lost, the same as those who've gone before.
Their rush to capture, all's destruction in their plan,
Is forever self defeating, in this we understand,
Imagined fear, a common thread to draw us near,
Their only ally, the unknown, unity, as ours to cheer.
In times of worry, brought on by the deranged few,
A brightest light illuminates, comes shining through.
Truest light of the human spirit, one of a precious kind,
Overcomes the fear and trepidation, in its peace of mind.
The broadcasted evil, that does so screen, tries to blind,
Its veil uplifted, by all human caring, the glue to bind.
A brilliant spirit shining, overcomes the darkness there,
The love and humanity's kindness, that we all do share.
