A Poem - For All Their Goods And Plenty (A Political Forecast)
Just for fun?
Where will they "spend" Christmas?
They both have goods a plenty,
They both seem like decent guys.
But, by December 20,
One's in for his sad surprise.
Elections will have ended.
Christmas will be drawing near.
The one who won can fly tended.
"Hawaii's trip's nothing, dear."
For the loser: Chicago's,
Or Boston's winter so drear.
While waves, and soft hulas sway.
It's winners taxpayers pay.
Taxpayers still can save him,
And save on their money, too;
Can have chosen "Not Boston!"
For he'd stay right here with you!
[And probably not cash his salary either!]

Join the Navy and see the world! Most of it is water anyway, so why not? If you like climbing mountains, join the Army. If you really want to see it all without hardly touching it, join to fly.
