A Poem: Missing Person: Reward Offered And Given

A lost love is more than the loss of the person, oh so much more....

~ ~ ~ ~ ~~ ~ ~ ~ ~

There was sunshine on her face,

overflowing from inside.

There was warmth in her being,

which warmed when she approached.

There was love in her hugs,

which made them more than greeting or goodbye.

There was truth in her being,

which said more than words can convey.

There was; but now, gone,

parting was the thief of sunshine, warmth, love, and truth,

which memory alone cannot suffice.

  • A Haiku - Leadership

What defines a true leader? It isn't just charisma and sensing their power. It isn't just making us afraid so we are mobilized. It's being true, honest, fair, up front, and out front. This Haiku examines leadership.

  • Wake Me I Pray

How thawed to God's love are you? What would it be like for you to suddenly awake to your eternal life? A sculptor tried to envision that for people'sl statues in Falls Church, Virginia.

  • Have you seen it anywhere? I've lost my weight!

It just disappears when you seriously don't want it any more. When that happens, it goes the way of all life, it just leaves early, leaving you with a healthy Body Mass Index....BMI and better life.

Yes very true! I have a friend that has been missing for 10 years, and I know he would love your poem! As well as a baby in my state that has been missing for 5 Months! Countless others all over the globe. Something I will never understand is why people vanish and disappear without a trace. :(

Beautifully written. Parting the thief, leaves the emptiness, a void that is hard to fill. Voted up and beautiful.

This is very beautiful P! My favorite line:

"parting was the thief of sunshine, warmth, love, and truth,

which memory alone cannot suffice"

Gorgeous words. Voted up.
