A SIMPLE POEM...by b. Malin

LIFE, AS I SEE IT NOW...

I wanted to write a simple poem...

About Life, as I see it now.

I Love, the dawning of a new Day.

Once again, everything seems so fresh and new.

In Florida land, In Florida land.

Like Flowers in bloom and birds making circles in the sky.

I hear my heart pumping, pumping, so glad to be alive.

I check out my "Mac", for Hub friends, whose friendships I value...

And take the time, to read and comment.

Comments become the "Fruits" of a writer's labor...

It's what keeps our hearts, pumping, pumping,

As we spin the stories that occupy our minds.

I feel so blessed, to be where I am...

In Florida land, In Florida land.

For the renewed "Friendships" of old friends,

which has stood the test of time, and passed!

Here in Florida land, Florida land.

I realize that "Richness" comes only from within...

It can not be bought at any price...

And Sunsets are Free, and oh so Beautiful.

And my eyes are my camera...

And my mind is my memory...

And you "dear friends" are the Fruits of my Labor...

No matter where I roam...

This is my Life, as I see it now...

And this is my simple poem.

... it truly sounds like you are at peace with yourself at this point in your life - and even though life can be complicated and daunting at times it's the simple things which often affect us the most deeply -just like your words have affected me - and there are so many people both inside and out who are not satisfied with their 'lot in life' .....but I can tell you are - and that's a simple blessing in itself .....

Erin, you know why I loved it...because it reminds me of "Fall" crazy as that sounds...I guess because all the weather this year is so screwed up...and so we are able to do a lot of walking and for "BIG WALKERS" it's heavenly...thanks for your comments.

Jaggedfrost, we've always been different...so our enjoyments are fun, walking to the beach, discovering new places to see...swimming for me... Not just baking in the sun and complaining..Happness is catching those moments as the world spins by. Thanks for the compliment...Let go, and do something just for fun.

Colin, it took a long time to get ME to this "mental place" in my mind...and cold weather did not bring out the best in me. Thank you so much for your thoughtful words. They are always deeply appreciated .LOL.

This poem makes you seem so contented I'm surprised it isn't purring! lol

I just trudged through 18 inches of recently fallen snow to drive my son to school. The blanket of white covering everything in sight is omnipresent and seems to be sucking the colors out of everything outside that was once warm and green and alive.

Sweater weather! :{)

Hey Christopher, I wish you a melt down of all that SNOW...however, spring will have had this 18 inch drink and will work its magic, and it will be lush green once more. Thank you so much for stopping by...yes, I'm content to be out of what you described.

Granny's House, thanks for coming by...Right now I love being here. The weather is not hot, it's Florida's winter. However we have had days that you can go to the beach and swim, or jump into a pool...It's great weather for exploring and walking and being grateful. Thanks for enjoying my poem.

b.Maline--This is my favorite part--

I realize that "Richness" comes only from within...

It can not be bought at any price...

And Sunsets are Free, and oh so Beautiful.

And my eyes are my camera...

And my mind is my memory...

And you "dear friends" are the Fruits of my Labor...

No matter where I roam...

This is my Life, as I see it now...

And this is my simple poem. Especially the "richness comes only from within." I'm glad life is good and warm and hub befriended. I'm always glad to find your new words. Always! da

Dear b.Malin,

I love this simple poem of yours ;) it is lovely and I like the photo you selected to go with this poem. The poem may be simple but the flowers look sophisticated and exquisite.

Thank you for stopping by my hubpages and commenting on it.

How many 'true' fans do I have... I do not know. They come, then they go. But I will always remain true to my poetry, to those who was inspired by it, to those who looked then turned away, to those who stayed, to those who never came or will come some day....

May light and peace be with you ;)
