A Soul That's Found It's Way- A Poem
A Soul That's Found It's Way
I was a broken child torn to shreds
Laid about to waste away
Left alone to meet with death
In a darkness of decay.
I was lost, a flower with out the sun
Not a chance to flourish or to grow
My life seemed from the beginning done,
My spirit a lost soul.
I was frightened of the unknown,
The things that haunt me everyday.
Memories in my mind deep within sewn
That was and is a part of me would not go away.
And ghastly voices, hellish images filled my being
And I felt almost left unseen
A person that had become a ghost
A body rotten, a demon's host.
But a ball of sun filled with within,
Grew into the sky above.
The darkened skies grew to an endI am a flower full of love.
I am a child, a woman unbroken
Glued back together to cherish, to token.
I have been found, I have been found
I am safe and I am sound.
