A Wish For You

Today, I am the one who will make a wish, not you..

Allow me to be selfish and ask the sky to listen to me, today..

My wish is;

For you to seize your pain, lock it in a swarthy bag and put it aside..

To forget about the past, the future and go out dancing in the streets..

Dance in the face of oppression.

My wish is;

For you is to converse with trees and stones, not with people..

To stamp with your small feet on thorny days..

And most of all,

To sing with your angelic voice:

Let nature and earth smile at me

Let love smile at me,

I am in love, and loved”

my wish for you and for me is that you keep writing this hubdelicious poetry. So nice to hook up with you my fellow Ontarian. Summer is finally upon us eh!!!

I live just down the road from you at Lake Erie near Port Dover. 100 feet across the road is my beach and the lake.

I live here with my two cats - Little Miss Tiffy and Mister Gabriel.

I will look forward to reading your other hubs too - they look inspiring with an eclectic mix of subjects.

Good for you - and keep up the good work too!
